Introduction
Layla graduated from the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, after making the move from Denmark to complete her studies. Throughout these years, she found her passion in managing musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory conditions, particularly low back pain, knee injuries and chronic/persistent pain.
After spending 10+ years playing soccer in the Great Southern, Layla has developed a keen interest in sporting injuries and rehabilitating the sporting athlete back to the game they love. After gaining years of sports training experience with the Claremont Football Club, Westside Wolves Hockey Club, and finally the Palmyra Rugby Union Club, she now manages the men’s players as the Head Physiotherapist at Palmyra. Layla also has an interest in the concussion space and would love to complete further training in this area. Layla has completed additional training in dry needling.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Layla enjoys spending time at the gym, with her friends and family, and watching sports.
