NDIS support through Lifecare's allied health services
The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) provides funding to eligible people with disabilities, to support increased independence, skill development, access to paid and unpaid work, and achieve an improved quality of life.

NDIS participants can access a range of allied health therapies under their NDIS plan to support them to increase their social and economic participation and independence.
All Lifecare clinics provide a range of NDIS allied health services to help to achieve your goals including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology and podiatry for self-managed and plan managed participants.
Our in-home service in WA, along with the Ontrac clinic in Bowral, NSW are NDIS registered providers.
These clinics can service both plan- and agency-managed participants in those regions.

How can we support NDIS participants?
Our practitioners can help NDIS participants with the following physiotherapy services:
- Functional assessments and reports
- Treatment plans to achieve specific goals
- Therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Assistive technology or equipment prescriptions such as walkers, wheelchairs, or orthotic device
- Exercise-based rehabilitation including Pilates and clinical exercise programs
- Pain management in conjunction with other healthcare providers
- Manual therapy
- Dry needling
Conditions that can be managed under NDIS include:
- Stroke rehabilitation
- Neurological rehabilitation including multiple sclerosis, acquired brain injury (ABI), Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, cerebral palsy or other neurological injury
- Fibromyalgia
- Mental health and related conditions
Our NDIS services may be covered in your NDIS plan under your Core Supports Budget categories:
