Jane has over 15 years of experience in performance nutrition as the founder of Mandarine Food Fitness (www.mandarine.com.au). Her expertise lies in optimising physical and mental performance for various groups, including athletes, executives, menopausal women, and adolescents. She specializes in building strength, rehabilitation from injuries (such as stress fractures) or surgery, training diets for maximal recovery, event preparation, supplement audits, weight management, and longevity, including managing clinical conditions like heart disease, metabolic syndrome, dementia, and oncology.

 

Jane is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD), an Accredited Sports Dietitian (SDA), and a credentialed Eating Disorder Dietitian (ANZEAD). She holds a Bachelor of Science, a Master in Human Nutrition & Dietetics, a Master of Business Administration, and a Diploma in Sports Nutrition (IOC).

 

As a former Ironman athlete (Kona World Championship finisher), surfer, and skier who has undergone numerous orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation programs, Jane has a personal appreciation for personalised training, recovery, and race nutrition. She also recognizes the incredible benefits that pre-surgical and rehabilitation nutrition can provide.

 

Jane offers in-person consultations at Lifecare while continuing to manage Mandarine Food Fitness, volunteering as a mental health dietitian for the White Cloud Foundation, and keeping up with her two active teenage boys.
