Bio
Erin graduated from La Trobe University in 2008 after completing a Bachelor of Podiatry, with Honours. Her honours thesis investigated the diagnosis and management of osteoarthritis of the big toe joint (a very common clinical presentation).
Erin’s passion for sports podiatry stems from her own strong sporting background and her love of all sports. She has played A grade netball and is a former national athletic champion. Erin enjoys all areas of sports podiatry though her specific clinical interests include, the treatment of skin and nail conditions, orthotic management/footwear prescription and the treatment of osteoarthritis of the foot and ankle. She also has a passion for working with the paediatric population, an area of clinical interest that has increased since having her first son in 2016. Erin is now the very proud mum of three boys, with Teddy becoming a big brother to Patrick in 2018 and Henry in 2021.
Outside of Lifecare Erin has worked at La Trobe University as a 3rd and 4th year clinical supervisor, 1st year physiology tutor and she has gained extensive knowledge of athletic footwear during her time working at Active Feet (specialist footwear retailer). She has also worked at the Oxfam Trailwalker providing podiatric care and blister management.
