This March marks 15 years since Lifecare Homecare first commenced providing in-home allied health services to the people of Perth.
A year prior, founder, Anthony Imms, started providing in-home physiotherapy services as a ‘side-gig’, having identified a need for people to be seen in their own home environment.
At the time, the delivery of Physiotherapy services, and more broadly allied health, in people’s homes wasn’t an option for many.
There were only a couple of providers in Perth offering in-home physiotherapy.
On March 1st 2010, Lifecare Homecare (originally known as Homecare Physiotherapy) was born, when Anthony joined forces with Lifecare, to grow the business, with the vision of ensuring everyone had access to high quality allied health services, not just those that were fit and mobile enough to attend a clinic.
Where vulnerable people were not missing out on much-needed care.
Fast-forward 15 years, and Lifecare Homecare has over 60 health professionals, across all the main allied health professions, serving over 10,000 clients annually, throughout the greater Perth region, as well as regionally via telehealth.
Lifecare Homecare Principal, Anthony Imms says, “It is a privilege to serve people where they live, in their own home, their sanctuary. We are incredibly proud of the meaningful difference we make to the lives of the people we serve. Our dedicated team of professionals has worked tirelessly to provide exceptional care and support to our clients, and live out our practice values of care, respect, integrity and service excellence.”
