Background

Josh has been with the team here at LifeCare since graduating in 2019. Josh is passionate about helping people rehabilitate to the best of their ability within the sporting, general and chronic pain populations. Over the past several years Josh has been expanding his rehabilitation and management skills working alongside several local football clubs.

Josh has been the senior physiotherapist with Karingal Football Club for the last 5 seasons and has also worked alongside the elite netball community as the head physiotherapist for the Hawks Netball Club in the VNL in 2019.

Professional Interests

Josh’s experience has exposed him to numerous acute soft-tissue injuries of which he has developed a passion for rehabilitating and getting his players back onto the field/court in their best condition. Josh enjoys treating acute ankle, knee and lower limb soft-tissue injuries.

Josh is also upskilling in his management and rehabilitation of chronic pain patients. He has an eagerness to help guide this population group in the right direction and build their functional capacity to allow a greater independence in their daily lives.

Josh has also completed his advanced dry needling course as adjunct to rehabilitation options for his client’s rehabilitation pathways always looking for the most effective ways to treat every individual person.

Personal Interests

When not at work, Josh is an avid supporter of the Geelong Cats during the winter and in the summer shifts his focus a little more towards the cricket and attending the beautiful days at the horse racing with his friends and family. He enjoys all music but as some would say (Reed) it does need some refinement.

Josh is still developing his passion for playing golf and enjoys his time on course. But when at home he can always be found at his local parks around his home walking with his two boxer dogs, Binky and Daphne, and his fiancé Hayley.
