Bio:
Dr Nick van Wetering is experienced in the management of all sporting and musculoskeletal disorders with a special interest in spinal injuries and in particular the management of pars defects in athletes. He also has an interest in using radial shockwave therapy for musculoskeletal disorders, particularly tendon pathology. He is actively involved in the trialing of new treatment modalities including Pentosan Polysulfate Sodium (PPS), which is used to treat the aggressive bone marrow oedema associated with osteoarthritis. Nick assists some of Melbourne’s leading orthopaedic surgeons including Mr Eden Raleigh, Mr John O’Donnell, and Mr Tony Dunin while also being the Team Physician to the Melbourne City FC and the Eastern Ranges TAC Cup Team.
