Background

Brenton joined the team at Lifecare Frankston as a physiotherapist at the beginning of 2013 after working in the public sector for 3 years. Brenton has enjoyed the change in roles, particularly working closely with patients to achieve their best possible function to reach peak performance in both the sporting and general population.

Brenton also enjoys working closely with the team to help manage chronic pain and associated conditions and assisting with returning to work following injury, and is heavily involved with running the Precision Ascend Pain Management Program; a chronic pain management program at the Cranbourne location.

Since joining the practice, Brenton has been involved with the Pines Football Netball Club, providing them with injury assessments and management both during the week and on game day. The highlight of this was being head trainer in their Grand Final win in 2018.

Professional Interests

Brenton has an interest in the whole spectrum of injuries, from acute sporting injuries to chronic pain and associated issues.

Brenton has a special interest in AFL injuries, baseball throwing injuries and post-surgical management, as well as helping patients with chronic pain return to work and leisure activities.

Personal Interests

Brenton enjoys all aspects of being outside, with a particular interest in fishing, boating and golf, which is where you will find him when he is not working at Lifecare.

Brenton currently plays baseball for the Sunshine Eagles through summer, and is also a passionate Geelong Cats supporter, attending as many games as possible throughout the year.

Brenton’s main other interest is spending time with his wife, Sally and children, William and Emily.
